Neoprene Dreams

DION LEE RESORT 2013
WOW! As a Print Student I have always respected Dion Lee's print skills, but this collection shows him as a skillful textile wizard, the details are insane. The sneaky optical illusions from print to 3D are so clever. wow wow wow

Paint me Tribal.

// Mosaic Dress - Whistles  // Platform Boots - ebay //
Sorry there has been so long between posts recently, I have been working my socks of on my year out from university
BUT I have a few outfit posts to share with you NOW, so here we go!
This is a printed silk dress from Whistles SS12 collection, I am not as dressy girly girly as you all my know, but I fell head over heels over head over heels for this dress.
The print is very silly and playful, as if someone has got a giant paint brush and doodled an funky pattern. ahhh I want to wear it everyday! WHERE IS THE SUN?

It has set me of on bright colours and oversized prints obsession and now I am strangely lusting after a couple of these silly House of Holland pieces.
I am in a goofy dressing up box kind of mood at the moment, all I want to do is dress in Neon Leopard and wear my hair in ears.

OR I could get my Black Fabric Marker out and start drawing HUGE SPOTS all over my clothes!

She is stunningly interesting and just completely immaculate. I recommend her blog if you haven't come across it before.
I admire people for having a developed sense of themselves and their style and Ivania has this down.

Portable Property

These Rings are never edited down, I have always worn a few more than I probably should...
but I am of the school of thought that you should pile on your nice things, it cheers you up.
The more rings the better
...and it also makes you look pretty BADASS,
AND no one will mess with you with that much metal on your knuckles
It is hard to list where they are from as they are from just about everywhere, from eBay to markets in Provence to My Sister.... blah blah

Oh...the bone Skull is from Silver Service...they have amazing intricate carved bone and horn pieces.
And the chunky Silver one with a stone that looks like a mini planet is from a costume shop on Berwick street in Soho, London called 'So High Soho' at the front they have so amazing imported silver Jewellery...Very much a hidden gem!!
The Raw Ruby I got at a random stall in Spitalsfield
BUT yes, my point is keep your eyes peeled as you never know where you might find new rings.

Good Luck Magpie-ing
